Rentals in Puerto Vallarta

I’m often asked about rentals. I’d love to say I am able to help but a mentor said to me when I first arrived to PV to focus on one or the other (Sales or Rentals) and be really good at one instead of average at both. I chose SALES, so I can't help you with rentals...

BUT, I have put this page together to give you the best advice I know on finding a PV rental. I hope it provides some value to you.
 

One thing to note, When you’re looking to buy a property, choose one agent and work with them - they have access to all the same listings. But when looking for a rental, sometimes it’s better to have a few agents looking for you.

You may find rental agents are not as responsive as Sales agents. So you may have to keep following up with them to get a response.

Remember High Season (November to March) books up quickly. To get good options, book early. If you can, almost 1 year in advance is ideal. But at least in or before August for high season. I know this is not always possible, but if you can, plan ahead.

Lastly, be aware, if you get to your rental and you love it, the rental manager might say to you "its for sale". Please contact me if you have any interest in buying or to at least talk over this opportunity presented to you. It is often not what you might think...
