Paul is originally from New Zealand and now resides in our amazing town of Puerto Vallarta.  Paul is proud to have his own brokerage where he helps clients find their dream homes here and create a new chapter and a life they love.  From the moment he arrived he felt at home and fell in love with the people, the vibrance and the culture. 

 

Before Puerto Vallarta, Paul sold luxury real estate in Auckland, New Zealand where he gained a reputation for excellent customer service & professionalism.  He also managed his personal investment properties as Airbnb vacation rentals, and knows what it takes and what to pay attention to when buying investment properties.

 

With a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Finance and Accounting from the University of Canterbury and his life experiences, he learned important skills of connecting with people, listening, marketing and negotiation that come in handy when negotiating for his clients.

How lucky I was to have worked with Paul Trimmer during my recent condo purchase in Puerto Vallarta. I was “introduced” to Paul through his YouTube Channel where he shares so much useful information about things to consider when buying property in PV. We hired Paul Trimmer to help us with our first condo purchase in Mexico. It was the first time we bought real estate outside of our home country. After watching his YouTube videos & reading his great newsletters, we hired Paul as we felt he was knowledgeable realtor and a great fit for us. After we first spoke with Paul, he gave us an idea of what buildings to look at that would match our needs. We easily found a unit through the MLS feed he set up for us. He went the next day and did a live virtual tour for us since we were out of country and after the tour, we wrote up an offer. The building we picked was a building Paul was very familiar with and knowledgeable because he had sold units in that building already. He answered every question, which was probably over a thousand of them (no joke!). He would even write us back at 11pm on a Saturday night with answers. Paul has fantastic negotiating skills as he got us within a few grand of the price we wanted to pay. Due to his strong negotiating skills he was able to get 10’s of thousands of dollars taken off the asking price. Paul was there for us at every step of the way; he was even there at the closing meeting. Paul has great professional contacts as every person Paul recommended to us was top notch. While the whole process of buying foreign property was new and scary to us, Paul made sure it was easy and he made us feel comfortable and guided us through every hoop we had to go through.
